The hk prize is an international scholarship program that recognizes high school students for their academic achievements and extracurricular involvement, encouraging them to follow their passions and develop global perspectives. It also offers them the opportunity to study at Hong Kong’s premier research institutions, enhancing their opportunities for future careers in science. The award is sponsored by Youth Arch Foundation and Lion & Globe Educational Trust.
The winner of this prize will receive a cash award, as well as access to the city’s premier research facilities and other perks. The competition is highly competitive, drawing thousands of scientists from around the world each year. Some of the notable finalists have even risked their lives for their work, such as the founder of an organization that provides shelter for homeless adults and a professor who invented liquid biopsy to help doctors diagnose cancer more quickly.
There are many ways to win the hk prize, but one way is to play at a reputable gambling site with fair play and reasonable winning chances. Players should keep track of their wins and losses, and only gamble with money they can afford to lose. It is also important to read the rules and regulations of any gambling site before depositing any money.
In addition to the monetary prize, winners will be given six months of internships at Hong Kong’s premier research institutes, expanding their networks and developing professional ties with local researchers. They will also gain international exposure and top-tier media coverage. The prize’s name is derived from the Chinese characters for pearl and jade, juxtaposed to form a design with happy connotations.
If any of the prize-winning scholars violates any provisions of the Charter, BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION PRIZE reserves the right to terminate their awards, withdraw their prize money, certificate and trophy. BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Innovaton PRIZE is committed to performing its duties professionally, objectively and fairly. It has formulated an independent review procedure, and no organizations or individuals may exert undue influence on the evaluation process.
This prize is open to Hong Kong citizens or permanent residents, and applicants must have a minimum of two articles published in medical journals by December’s end. The articles can be clinical studies, observational or epidemiological and must be original research (e.g., clinical, experimental or basic science). BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY innovaton PRIZE is also available to scientists who are not in Hong Kong for a maximum of three months. During this time, the winner will be able to conduct research at any Hong Kong institute and participate in an international conference within their field of research. The winning scholar will be awarded HK$100,000 for the period of the fellowship. This will help them fund their research in the region. In addition, they will also receive a travel grant and a one-time accommodation allowance. They will also be invited to attend the awards ceremony in November. Applicants can apply online from October 1 to November 30.
